"A 2006 study and review of existing literature, published in Nature, determined that nearby has be no net increase within solar brightness since the mid 1970s, and that changes surrounded by solar output within yesteryear 400 years are unlikely to have played a most important part contained by global warm."
One of the most noted is sun spots. We are in the Suess warm cycle for another 202 years.
Thanks for the question, I discovered something from it.So yes it is a untaught cycle.
1) The sun's mass is not homogeneous. Differences in materials and temperature within the sun make happen currents (think of it as a big ball of fluid fire), altering it's output.
2) Yes. The sun has several, deep-rooted output cycles that affect the earth.
To linlyons: "...no lattice increase in solar brightness..."....the sun produces rather more than the visible restrained spectrum...do a little more research.
conceivably the sun has some internal sickness and will not live out its full life span of 300,000,000,000 yrs or so give or embezzle a few weeks it could croak with an adjectives mighty bang at any instant!!
SUVs? They raison d`¨ētre everything else if you believe the global warmiacs, so why not solar flux?
Scientists only enjoy 'Theories' about the sun. So far they believe they hold a handle on predicting 'Sunspots' - however their predictions on the start of solar cycle 24 own missed.
You can monitor the Sun and all it's outputs here:

Interesting information just about 'Solar Winds' and their associated 'Interplanetary Magnetic Fields' which seem to be increasing:
http://spaceweather.com/glossary/imf.htm...
"Earth have a magnetic corral, too. It forms a bubble around our planet called the magnetosphere, which deflect solar wind gusts. (Mars, which does not hold a protective magnetosphere, has lost much of its atmosphere as a result of solar interweave erosion.) "
Can you imagine Earth short a magnetosphere = we would surely have no atmosphere, man closer to the sun.
The pseudo intellectuals truly have no thought of the power of the Sun.
Edit: A hint = the earth's iron core (4,000 - 9,000 degrees) is rotating - helping to create this magnetosphere. The Sun's IMF effects the magma's rotation and that contained by turn effects plate tectonics, earthquakes, volcanoes and most importantly undersea volcanoes that warmness oceans - which in turn drives the earth's weather as resourcefully as releasing CO2 from the earth's largest repository of CO2 = the oceans.
