Answers: There are other solar flares active on the sun, sometimes they're basically much stronger than at other times. I don't bewlieve there are any really strong flares at the moment.
Wait a short time while and try again. Should clear up pretty soon.
Only a comment of the "reach" of solar flares. In the month of August back contained by late 60's or rash 70's , a solar flare hit the earth so unyielding it affected our spell of rotation. I would have to contact sky publishing and see if I could research the essentials but I do remember reading it as I have subscribed to sky and telescope for years at that time. These flares are of appealing type intensity and do, at the maiximum period create sever interference with our worldly communications.
Solar flares are going on continuously but only when they are serious they affect weather and wireless frequencies.

As Dave Stark say, there are solar flares taking place all the time. It's similar to thunderstorms on earth. Solar flares are associated beside sun spots, which are clearly visible as pitch-black spots on the sun's surface.
There is an eleven-year cycle for sun spots and the associated solar flaring - the last acme was surrounded by 2001, so we are now at a sun spot, and soar flare, minimum.
No, I wouldn't associate your cellular phone problems with solar flares, there's too several terrestrial cause that are much more likely. Solar flares sufficiently considerable to cause mobile problems are extremely rare, even at sun spot maximum!
I would have a chat beside the telephone service provider - both yours and your mum's (she can do that) they should be capable of help you track-down the problem.
Good luck :-)
Aren't solar flares are the things that shoot shaded. Don't they go on adjectives the time. I bet your mom just have some reception problems. Go visit her! She'd probably love to see you. Or you could lurk until things clear up.
