Difference between Solar System and Stellar Astronomy?

In college, what is the difference between Solar System Astronomy and Stellar Astronomy? I don't have a tourist information and I need to sign up for classes today. I really solely want to look at the stars, i"m not that interested in history or planet formations.
Answers:
If you're interested in stars but not interested surrounded by planets, which class do *you* think you should be taking?
Astronomy is astronomy, kid. If you are interested contained by one, you should also be interested in the other. After adjectives, you can't tell the instructor in first class that you only want to swot A-L but you are totally not interested in erudition M-Z.
The classes on Solar system as a rule focus on a complete inventory of what's in solar systems -- the characteristics of respectively planets, their satellites, asteroids, comets, including their motion, tectonics, atmosphere etc. It is probably more descriptive than mathematical.

The classes on stellar evolution generally focus on the structure of stars, its mass and luminosity, chemical compositions, radiation transfer from core to atmosphere, its tour through protostar, to main sequence, to giant, to black holes/white dwarfs etc. Depending on its level, more math might be involved.
