Any of you have have any experience with this type of solar bake collector? What is the pros and cons of this type of system?
It's a passive system that single works within relatively fixed temperature band, with constant sun, have poor efficiency and that can not store relevant amounts of grill for most locations.
It is, on the other hand, a pretty perfect looking architectural solution that won't need repairs and that can't break (unless someone breaks the window...).
If I had to build a system myself, I would budge for a modern active system which uses dignified temperature collectors and probably any a water cistern, or even better, sand or concrete as the storage medium.
