perchance there is a switch or a setting that will allow the insubstantial to come on at a certain time similar to night or sunshine. check on that.
Hi it sounds like the moon is bright satisfactory to charge them so they come on during the day, reverse them by keeping them surrounded by a dark room for 24 hours afterwards leave them out untimely so the sun charges rather than the moon!
they charge during the morning and when full they turn on, during the day, next drain the battery so they are past its sell-by date at night. verbs the lens. they are not seeing the light so they dont know if it is see or light.
it sounds close to either you get 2 of the 3 wires to the photo cell wired backwards or your getting reflections of restrained from somewhere. also try wipeing the photo eye with a dripping rag. it may be dirty.
did you put the battery in correctly ?
