it will keep rats and mice away as very well,i live between 2 farms and i own loads of them,i have caught some next to one of them humane traps put i cant keep up beside them.

I don't contemplate it will work. The solar power thing is supposed to convey vibrations in the ground to deter moles. I don't know if it is potent for that. For mice and rats I have see high pitch resonance sensors in grocery stores for example to save rodents out. I don't know if they work either. Get yourself a couple of fixed cats to preserve outdoors to control the rats and mice. Or you can place some plastic owls in strategic places around your patio to help save them at bay. But within the end I chew over that the cats would work best. Good luck.
