Are nearby planets orbit other stars beyond our solar system?

Give examples of the planets. Please and thanks!

Answers:    Although astronomers own discovered over 200 exoplanets, or extra solar planets outside of our solar system, many of them are planets which are "hot Jupiters". These planets orbit so close to their parent stars that their upper atmospheres are heated to 10,000 K by extreme-UV, or EUV, radiation.

Personally, I'd to some extent we exploit the 160+ moons in our solar system for humankind.

Names of some exoplanets: 51 Pegasi b, Gliese 876 b and c be discovered in 2000, Gliese 876 d within 2005; TrES-1, SWEEPS-11 and WASP-3b.
YES...

An extrasolar planet, or exoplanet, is a planet beyond the Solar System. As of May 2008, 293 exoplanets have be detected. The vast majority be detected through various indirect methods fairly than actual imaging.

Most of them are massive giant planets likely to resemble Jupiter.

Currently Gliese 581 d, the third planet of the red dwarf star Gliese 581 (approximately 20 wishy-washy years from Earth), appears to be the best example yet discovered of a possible environmental exoplanet which orbits close to the liveable in zone of space surrounding its star. Going by strict terms, it appears to reside outside the "Goldilocks Zone", but the greenhouse effect may angle the planet's surface temperature to that which would support gooey water.

2008, HD 189733 b
On March 20 follow up studies to the first spectral analyses of an extrasolar planet be published in the irrefutable journal Nature, announcing evidence of an natural molecule was found on an extrasolar planet for the first time. In 2007 river vapor was already detected contained by the spectrum of HD 189733 b, but new analyses showed not solely water vapor, but also methane existing contained by the atmosphere of the giant gas planet. Although conditions on HD 189733 b are too harsh to harbor vivacity, it still is the first time a key molecule for life life be found on an extrasolar planet.

There are so many other planets orbit outside our solar system....pls see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extrasolar_... for lists of these planets and for other info....

Yes, there are oodles, so far 200 extrasolar planets found circling around stars.
Yes, there are. I believe at hand have presently been over 200 extrasolar planets discovered.
Yes, nearby are. And rather a surprisingly huge number of them.
Do a web look into for 'planets orbiting other stars'.

yes, example, hot jupiter.
Yes I come up with we know of over 200 but There should be billions more just waiting to be found.
